Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between David Allan Coe (ranked 2135 p4p, 221 weight class) and Torkel Bystrom (ranked 3899 p4p, 336 weight class). And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 5 losses; Torkel Bystrom!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Coe looking to score a takedown here. Bystrom is defending well but Coe drives through and ends up in Bystrom's guard.

Bystrom working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Coe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Coe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bystrom escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Coe is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bystrom doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Coe.

Bystrom is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Coe pulls his head out easily.

Coe seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bystrom does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Coe wants to free his trapped foot but Bystrom is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Coe is trying to control the action in half guard but Bystrom is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Coe wants to advance to full mount but Bystrom doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Bystrom has his foot on Coe's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Coe works his way back into a safe position though.

Coe sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Bystrom doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Coe paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Bystrom - great work!
