The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Anatta closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gordon quickly recovers to half guard.

Anatta is thwarting Gordon's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Anatta is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Gordon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Anatta pulls his head out easily.
Anatta trying to mount his opponent but Gordon defends it.

Anatta is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Anatta wants to work for an arm triangle but Gordon is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Anatta wants to improve his position but Gordon is controlling well.
Gordon is looking to take a break and control but Anatta is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Anatta controls Gordon momentarily but Gordon frees himself.

Anatta has his foot on Gordon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gordon works his way back into a safe position though.
Gordon wants to control from the top but Anatta keeps moving.
Gordon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Gordon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Anatta's guard.

Gordon stalling away here and it's allowed Anatta to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Anatta is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are battling for position here. Gordon manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Gordon is trying to control the position but Anatta postures up.
Anatta pushes down on Gordon's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Gordon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Anatta's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Anatta's back!

Anatta rolls, trying to escape but Gordon keeps control of the position.
Gordon gets his hands free as Anatta looks to control.

Anatta tries to roll but Gordon sticks to his back.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Gordon controlling the positon.

Gordon is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Anatta defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Gordon is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Anatta is defending well though. Gordon let's go of the attempt for now.
Anatta might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Gordon has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Anatta is defending well but eventually Gordon manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Anatta has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
