The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dervisevic tries to close the distance and clinch but Putins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Putins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dervisevic is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dervisevic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dervisevic misses with a few strikes there.
Emin Dervisevic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Putins. Dervisevic does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dervisevic slaps away a takedown attempt from Putins, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Putins keeps the fight on the outside.
Dervisevic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Putins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dervisevic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Putins moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Oh but Putins is tightening it up a little... Dervisevic has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dervisevic reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dervisevic taps out! Nice BJJ there by Putins!
