The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker misses with a double jab

and Navajo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Navajo missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Baker is trying to get back to full guard.
Navajo throws a strike but Baker avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
We've been hearing that Navajo has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Navajo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Baker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Navajo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Baker seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Baker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Baker is sitting in close to Navajo's body. Navajo has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Baker is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Baker is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Navajo.
