Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juan Luna (ranked 781 p4p, 95 weight class) and Chuy Bacca (ranked 5544 p4p, 462 weight class). Luna comes to the cage accompanied by Noypi by Bamboo. Bacca has chosen Buena Vista Social Club - Hasta Siempre as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Juan Luna!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chuy Bacca!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Chris Dean and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bacca slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

It looks like Juan Luna has been cut.
Luna jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Chuy Bacca has been cut.
Luna scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Luna has taken the fight to the clinch.

Bacca pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Luna is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bacca.
Bacca throws out a counter right but Luna avoids it with no problem.
Bacca slips under a jab from Luna.
Bacca keeps the fight on the outside.
Luna lands a glancing blow to the side of Bacca's head.
Luna throws a big shot that misses.
Bacca lunges at Luna with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Luna's hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bacca lands with a straight right. Luna didn't see that one coming.
Luna throws a body shot but no joy.
Bacca fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Bacca connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Luna's hands.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Luna connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bacca turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Luna rushes Bacca and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Luna lands a left hand.
Bacca blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Luna tries a body shot but Bacca blocks it.
Bacca looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bacca can't break the clinch.
Luna has a couple of punches blocked by Bacca.

Bacca escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bacca keeps the fight on the outside.
It seemed like Bacca was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
The fighters circling - Luna throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Luna moves into the clinch.
Luna misses with the head strike.
Luna keeps control of Bacca as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Luna tries a body shot but Bacca blocks it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bacca escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Luna comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Luna tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bacca paws at him with a jab and circles away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bacca throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Bacca throws a monster overhand right that drops Luna! Bacca follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuy Bacca!
Chuy Bacca spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Juan Luna was interviewed post fight and said 'A man can be destroyed but not defeated... I will pickup the pieces that I learned today and will grow from it.'.
