Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chief Slayer (ranked 1484 p4p, 184 weight class) and Samuel Turbitt (ranked 2858 p4p, 315 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Turbitt's choice of entrance music: Tell Me Ma. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Turbitt!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turbitt throws a body punch but Slayer moves out of range.

Turbitt lands a really nice looking cross but Slayer seems unphased.

Slayer drops back, looking for a kneebar! Turbitt looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Turbitt looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Turbitt!

Slayer is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Turbitt off and has taken his back!

Slayer has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Turbitt has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Slayer looking to break Turbitt's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Turbitt remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Slayer will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

That was a close second round but I would say that Chief Slayer will probably get the nod.

Slayer is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Turbitt lets go of the hold and Slayer can pop his arm back in it's socket.
