Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Tommy Lotus (ranked 7509 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bishop Templeton (ranked 4703 p4p, 459 weight class). Lotus comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Bishop Templeton!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.

Templeton tries to clinch there but Lotus circles away.

Lotus has closed the distance and engaged Templeton in a clinch.
Templeton tries to pull guard but Lotus won't allow it.
Templeton tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lotus just stands there and leans against the cage.
Lotus has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Templeton is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Templeton has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lotus after a bit of a struggle.
Tommy Lotus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bishop Templeton.
Templeton tries for a takedown. No joy.
Lotus tries to score a body lock takedown but Templeton shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Lotus is trying to drag Templeton to the mat but Templeton just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Lotus changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Templeton fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Lotus closes the distance and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Templeton jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lotus walks away with a smile on his face. Templeton gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Templeton is looking to clinch.

Lotus rushes Templeton and presses him up against the cage.

Lotus drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Templeton gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Templeton gets underhooks to prevent Lotus's takedown attempt.
Lotus is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Templeton pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Lotus drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lotus jumps guard but Templeton turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Templeton drags the fight down to the ground.
Lotus pushes down on Templeton's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Lotus has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Lotus forces the positional change into back control.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Lotus controlling the positon.

Lotus has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Templeton's body.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lotus has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Lotus.
Templeton just trying to survive but Lotus is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Lotus biding his time, controlling Templeton.
Templeton trying to control the position but Lotus manages to sink in the hooks.

Lotus controls the action.
Lotus seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Templeton for as long as he can get away with.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lotus continues to stall.
Lotus continues to hold on tight.

Templeton can't escape the position.
Templeton looks winded!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Lotus controlling the positon.

Templeton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lotus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lotus's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lotus is not going to allow Templeton to sit and survive in this position.
Lotus keeps control of the position easily here as Templeton tries to buck him off.
