The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Franklyn Lucas and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ho Soon throws an off balance right hand
and Kitjakarn counters with a leg kick.
Kitjakarn has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ho Soon finds it's way round the side to connect with Kitjakarn's head.
Ho Soon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kitjakarn.
Kitjakarn fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ho Soon checks it well.
Ho Soon keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kitjakarn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ho Soon.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ho Soon.
Ho Soon scores with a shot to the body.
Ho Soon clobbers Kitjakarn with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ho Soon throws a jab when Kitjakarn was well out of range.
Ho Soon lands a jab.
Ho Soon jabs Kitjakarn right on the nose. Kitjakarn blinks but takes it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ho Soon paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ho Soon tests Kitjakarn's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ho Soon misses with a right hand
and Kitjakarn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ho Soon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ho Soon might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Ho Soon misses the shot to the body.
Ho Soon misses with a looping left.
Kitjakarn moves forwards but Ho Soon connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ho Soon.
We've been told by Kitjakarn's head coaches at Master Chai's Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Ho Soon is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kitjakarn had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Ho Soon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kitjakarn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ho Soon misses with a wild body shot.
Ho Soon throws a jab but it's blocked by Kitjakarn.
Ho Soon throws an off balance right hand
letting Kitjakarn counter with a right hand.
An inside leg kick from Kitjakarn misses.
Kitjakarn turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ho Soon connects with a looping right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ho Soon ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kitjakarn tries a head kick but it misses.
Kitjakarn connects with a high kick.
Kitjakarn swings for the body but Ho Soon moves out of range.
Ho Soon flicks out a counter leg kick but Kitjakarn steps away.
Ho Soon misses with a telegraphed body shot
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Ho Soon with a nice cross.
Ho Soon throws a leg kick
and Kitjakarn counters with a big head kick but Ho Soon shrugs it off.
Kitjakarn takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Ho Soon lands with a straight right. Kitjakarn didn't see that one coming.
A shot to the body from Ho Soon misses
and Kitjakarn connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ho Soon throws a leg kick that is checked
and Kitjakarn counters with a crisp one two that drops Ho Soon! Kitjakarn thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ho Soon to his feet! Ho Soon is in big trouble!
Ho Soon is rocked!
Ho Soon throws a lazy body kick
and Kitjakarn counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Ho Soon off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Kitjakarn follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Ho Soon was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Biabas Kitjakarn!
After winning the bout, Biabas Kitjakarn thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
