Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Joe Bone (ranked 1675 p4p, 213 weight class) and Carlos Silverio (ranked 6659 p4p, 505 weight class). Bone comes to the ring accompanied by You'll Never Walk Alone. Silverio is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Shiro Sagisu - Angel of Doom. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 18 wins and 12 losses; Carlos Silverio!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Silverio instigates a clinch.

Bone is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Silverio is defending well.

Bone gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Bone is looking to take a break and control but Silverio is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bone uses his free foot to push down on Silverio's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Silverio.

Silverio is trying desperately to improve position.
Silverio has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Bone manages to capitalize on a mistake by Silverio to take his back!

Bone looking to break Silverio's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Silverio remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Bone will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Bone seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
