And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pallero half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Pallero tries to score a body lock takedown but Monroe shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Monroe 's coach down at Touch Of Death Combat Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Monroe 's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Monroe drops Pallero with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pallero looks back up at him and smiles so Monroe waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Ilpo Pallero has been cut.
Monroe is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pallero appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Monroe tries a head kick but it misses.
Monroe cracks Pallero with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Pallero stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Monroe .
Sloppy strikes from Monroe . Those never looked like landing.
Pallero feinted with a counter takedown.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Monroe rushes Pallero and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Monroe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Monroe swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pallero.
Pallero is rocked!
Pallero leaves his chin hanging out and Monroe seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Pallero crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
