With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trey Wittman !

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Ank throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Wittman to counter with a crisp jab.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Wittman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ank throws a combination that misses
and Wittman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ank misses with a series of wild punches.
Wittman lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ank throws a right and a left that Wittman avoids nicely.

and Wittman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Wittman has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

A nice side step and Wittman releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Despite the aggression on Wittman 's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

and Wittman counters with a right hand to the body.
Ank throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Wittman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ank throws a left and a right that both miss

Ank closes the distance and pushes Wittman back into the cage.

Wittman breaks from the clinch.

Sloppy strikes from Ank. Those never looked like landing.
Wittman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ank fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wittman let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ank will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ank throws a series of punches but Wittman avoids them all with ease.

and Wittman counters with a straight right hand.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wittman has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ank finds it's way round the side to connect with Wittman 's head.

and Wittman counters with a series of strikes. Ank will be more careful next time no doubt.

Wittman tries to keep at a distance but Ank has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wittman wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Ank throws a series of punches but Wittman moves out of range.
Wittman is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ank rather than just go for the knockout.
Ank throws a right hand that Wittman ducks under and follows up with a left that Wittman also avoids with ease.
Wittman lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Ank throws a series of punches but Wittman avoids them all with ease.

Ank misses with a body shot.
As Ank backs off Wittman throws a huge counter combo but Ank manages to avoid it all.
Ank throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wittman counters with a lovely straight right hand!


Ank is rocked!
Ank swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wittman counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Ank badly! Wittman follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Ank out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Wittman finished him against the cage.
