Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Nunes (ranked 4800 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruddo Ryokale (ranked 24793 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ruddo Ryokale enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Leonardo Nunes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ruddo Ryokale!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes throws a sloppy head kick and Ryokale moves out of range easily.
Nunes tries a head kick but it misses.

Ryokale darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Ryokale is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nunes sees it coming and defends easily.

Ryokale is looking for a kimura but Nunes is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ryokale to get the leverage.
Nunes is refusing to be controlled, as Ryokale sits in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ryokale slips a nice elbow through Nunes's hands, connecting with Nunes's forehead.

Ryokale is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Nunes is surviving well by controlling Ryokale's body position as best he can.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
