PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Otavio Jesus (ranked 3547 p4p, 367 weight class) and Miles O Brien (ranked 997 p4p, 126 weight class). Jesus has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

O Brien drives through and clinches with Jesus against the cage.

Jesus wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jesus is trying to break the clinch but O Brien has him pressed against the cage.
Jesus is breathing heavily.

O Brien lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by O Brien.
O Brien gets through Jesus's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
O Brien scores with a nice hook to the head.

O Brien looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Jesus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jesus's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
O Brien unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Jesus! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but O Brien is unloading with more strikes now! Jesus drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miles O Brien!
A relieved looking Miles O Brien thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
