The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takano throws a combination that misses
and Bon finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Takano misses with a left hand
and Bon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A low kick from Takano misses
and Bon counters with a nice body kick.
Bon lunges at Takano with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Takano's hand.
Bon jabs Takano to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Takano manages to avoid it.

Bon quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Takano tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bon is able to avoid easily.

Bon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Takano throws a leg kick but Bon sees it coming and moves out of range.
Some bone on bone action there as Bon checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Takano rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Takano throws a hook but Bon avoids it easily.

It looks like Oson Bon has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bon is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Takano walks into a big right hand from Bon and goes down! The referee sends Bon to a neutral corner as Takano gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.

and Bon counters with a big uppercut that drops Takano face first to the mat! Will he beat the count?! He's struggled up to his knees on 7 but it doesn't look like he's going to make it... he's been counted out! This fight is all over!

Oson Bon was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
