Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John McCain (ranked 2255 p4p, 130 weight class) and Aleksander Kazimierz (ranked 3338 p4p, 181 weight class). McCain comes to the cage accompanied by Anywhere I Go. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Kazimierz or perhaps it was just good defense by McCain, which made it look bad.
McCain stuns Kazimierz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Aleksander Kazimierz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kazimierz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McCain was covering up waiting for the punch and Kazimierz finishes the takedown easily into guard.

McCain has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
