Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Mokete!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wulfgang Bleak!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mokete swings for the body but Bleak moves out of range.
Bleak feints the counter takedown.
Bleak uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mokete.
Bleak with the counter takedown but Mokete avoids it easily.
Bleak stuffs the takedown.
Bleak feints the counter takedown.
Mokete fails with a takedown attempt.
Mokete takes a swing at Bleak's ribcage but misses.
Bleak lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Mokete throws a right and a left that Bleak avoids nicely.
Bleak drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mokete defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mokete tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bleak swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Mokete. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mokete throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bleak counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bleak postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Mokete is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bleak cracks Mokete with a solid left hand.
It looks like Alexander Mokete has been cut.

Mokete not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bleak's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Mokete is rocked!
Bleak with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Oh Mokete is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alexander Mokete's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Bleak postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Bleak loads up on a big left hand. Mokete felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bleak looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Mokete can't hide his disappointment, as Bleak celebrates the victory.
