Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Benny Woody (ranked 5335 p4p, 468 weight class) and Rene Aragnee (ranked 4933 p4p, 449 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woody connects with a body shot.
Woody misses with an uppercut.
Woody throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Aragnee on the side of the head.
Woody throws a body shot but no joy.
Aragnee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Woody.
Woody fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Aragnee manages to avoid it.
It seemed like Aragnee was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Aragnee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Woody as he avoids it easily.
Woody throws a body punch but Aragnee moves out of range.
Aragnee slips a straight right by Woody.
Woody tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aragnee paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Aragnee replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Woody blocks it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Woody connects with a nice short shot to Aragnee's temple.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Woody knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aragnee on the ground.
Woody is nestled in close to Aragnee, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

We've been hearing good reports from Woody's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Woody, as that shot connected.
Aragnee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Woody just misses with a punch to the body.
Aragnee lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Aragnee gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Rene Aragnee has been cut.
Woody ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aragnee moves away.

Woody shoots in for a double leg but Aragnee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
