The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macmacson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dan misses with a head kick.
Macmacson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Macmacson on the side of the head.

Macmacson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dan has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Macmacson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dan throws out the jab.
Macmacson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dan moves away.

Dangerous Dan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Macmacson misses with a hook. Dan ducked under it nicely.
Dan throws a fast counter high kick but Macmacson manages to duck under it in time.
Dan swats away the attempt to clinch by Macmacson.

and Macmacson counters with a body kick that stops Dan in his tracks momentarily.

and Macmacson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Crack! A monster head kick from Dan and Macmacson falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Dan!

Dangerous Dan is the new middleweight champion!
Dangerous Dan decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
