With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julian Bashir!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baloni connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Baloni misses with a hook. Bashir ducked under it nicely.
A little jabbing left from Bashir on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Bashir moves out of range of the strikes.
Baloni misses with a jab to the body
enabling Bashir to counter with a crisp jab.
Baloni tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bashir sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Baloni somewhat.
Bashir appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Bashir takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Baloni avoids the body shot from Bashir.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baloni scores with a nice right hand.
Bashir walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Baloni throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bashir sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A big left from Bashir misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bashir takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Julian Bashir has been cut.
Baloni slips a jab from Bashir.
Baloni lands a jab to the head.
Bashir looks winded!
Bashir moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Bashir is rocked!
Baloni lands a brutal uppercut that launches Bashir off his feet! Bashir tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
