Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Garaile Lban (ranked 1292 p4p, 169 weight class) and Clive Burrows (ranked 2552 p4p, 301 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Garaile Lban!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clive Burrows!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burrows shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Lban keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Burrows winds up and cracks Lban with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Burrows with the ground and pound but Lban uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Burrows throws a big right hand that misses.

Lban pulls Burrows in close to his closed guard and prevents Burrows from doing any damage or advancing position.
Burrows is looking to work some ground and pound but Lban has wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Burrows accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Burrows working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Burrows wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Burrows has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Clive Burrows seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burrows throws a lazy uppercut
and Lban counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The fighters circling - Lban throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Burrows. Lban does a little dance to reset his feet.

Lban takes a swing at Burrows's ribcage but misses.

Burrows tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Burrows shoots for a takedown but Lban saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Burrows ducks under a wild hook from Lban.
Burrows fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lban avoids it really well and circles away.
Garaile Lban has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clive Burrows.
Burrows shoots in but Lban avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Burrows takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Burrows closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lban's guard.
Burrows throws an elbow that misses. Lban uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Burrows's guard. Nice move by Lban!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Burrows is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Burrows wants to sweep here but Lban controlling him for the moment.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Burrows is looking to stand up but Lban isn't so interested in that idea.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Garaile Lban will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Lban counters with a left and a right... And another left! Burrows is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!

Our winner, Garaile Lban, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
