Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Scott (ranked 3746 p4p, 325 weight class) and Sergey Makarov (ranked 6612 p4p, 450 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott scores with a kick to the midsection.

Makarov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

It looked like Scott was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Scott will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Scott with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Makarov to score with a decent uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Makarov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Scott won't be happy with that.

We've been hearing good reports from Scott's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Sergey Makarov decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
