The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis looks to throw the jab but Lothbrook is out of range.
Lothbrook keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lothbrook moves out of range of the strikes.
Lewis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lothbrook throws out the jab.
Lewis looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Lewis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lothbrook sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Lewis has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lothbrook is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Lewis throws out a loose jab but Lothbrook uses good head movement to avoid it.
Johnny Lewis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Lewis throws a shot from downtown. Lothbrook moves away and avoids it.

and Lewis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Lewis lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Lothbrook is trying to drag Lewis to the mat but Lewis just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Lothbrook drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lewis gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Lewis lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lothbrook backwards.
Lothbrook is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lewis pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Lewis lands a left hand.
Nice body punch from Lewis - that landed with a thud.
Lewis is pressed up against the cage. Lothbrook has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lewis down to the mat. Lewis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Lothbrook throws a jab when Lewis was well out of range.
Lewis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Lothbrook gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lewis might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Lewis ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lewis scores with the left hand. Lothbrook knows he should have avoided that one.
Lewis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lewis moves into range and clinches up with Lothbrook.
Lewis gets underhooks to prevent Lothbrook's takedown attempt.
Lothbrook changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lewis fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Lothbrook has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

and Lewis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Lothbrook is breathing heavily.
Lewis drops Lothbrook with a straight right hand, right on the button! Lewis follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
