Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Emin Timurovich (ranked 24253 p4p, 451 weight class) and Jacob Cass (ranked 4734 p4p, 361 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Emin Timurovich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Cass!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Timurovich shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Timurovich was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Timurovich just content to control the position.
Cass struggling a bit here.
Cass tries to buck Timurovich off but Timurovich is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cass wants to control but Timurovich postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cass is trying to control Timurovich's posture but Timurovich avoids it.
Timurovich just content to control the position.
Timurovich is looking to take a break and control but Cass is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Timurovich goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Cass rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Timurovich's guard! Nice work there by Cass!

Timurovich wants to sweep here but Cass controlling him for the moment.
Timurovich on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Timurovich tries to get out of the position.
Cass stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Timurovich swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cass trying to control the position from guard on top but Timurovich is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Timurovich seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Timurovich looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Timurovich is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Emin Timurovich will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Timurovich dives in and grabs Cass's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cass pushes down on Timurovich's head and hops out.

Timurovich drives through and clinches with Cass against the cage.
Timurovich tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cass is trying to drag Timurovich to the mat but Timurovich just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Timurovich is pressed up against the cage. Cass has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Timurovich down to the mat. Timurovich avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Timurovich takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cass tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Timurovich closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Timurovich lands in his opponent's guard.

Timurovich wanted to stand there but Cass had control of the position.

Timurovich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cass swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cass doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cass can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Timurovich controls the pace.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Timurovich passes Cass's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Timurovich tries to stand and escape but Cass is controlling the position.

Cass moves into full guard.

Cass looking to hit a scissor sweep but Timurovich is one step ahead there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Emin Timurovich dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Timurovich gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cass is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Timurovich tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Timurovich is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cass can do to turn this around?
Timurovich is working for takedown but Cass is calmly controlling the position for now.
Timurovich prevents the takedown attempt.

Timurovich jumps into guard, dragging Cass to the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cass accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Emin Timurovich overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Timurovich is looking for a triangle but Cass pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Timurovich has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Cass fails with the takedown.
Cass scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Timurovich clinches with his opponent.
Cass wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Cass blocks an uppercut.

Timurovich has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Cass regains guard immediately.
Cass wants to get back to his feet but Timurovich is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Cass looking for a sweep. Not yet Cass, not yet.
Jacob Cass has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Emin Timurovich is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Timurovich, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
