The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pravda fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. DD sprawls well initially but Pravda persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Pravda is looking to advance position but DD won't allow it.
DD is trying to maintain the position but Pravda is very close to passing his half guard.

DD looking for submissions off his back.
Pravda lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

DD is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pravda pulls his head out easily.

Pravda looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks DD with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Pravda is taking a breather. DD says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pravda lands a nice short elbow.

DD tries to hold on but Pravda pushes him away.
Pravda lands with some vicious ground and pound - can DD hang on?

Jeez, Jack DD's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
