The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lyons.
A chopping leg kick lands by Biggs.
Biggs moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Biggs has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lyons is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Biggs throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lyons.

and Biggs counters with a left to the body.
Lyons takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Biggs dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lyons. That did some damage!
Biggs misses with a few strikes there.
Lyons changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Lee Lyons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lyons drops his hands for a split second and Biggs immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Lyons face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Biggs follows up with a right hand that knocks Lyons into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
