Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Istvan Meszaros (ranked 5320 p4p, 401 weight class) and Euan Campbell (ranked 6730 p4p, 450 weight class). Campbell has chosen Intro as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meszaros shoots for a double leg takedown but Campbell sprawls well. He's pushed Meszaros's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Meszaros has a takedown stuffed.

and Campbell counters with a single leg into guard. Meszaros didn't expect that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Istvan Meszaros. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Meszaros controls Campbell momentarily but Campbell frees himself.
Campbell slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Campbell tries to free his leg and advance position but Meszaros is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Campbell stays in close to Meszaros's body and controls the position.

Meszaros parries the strikes from Campbell easily there. Campbell is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Meszaros to escape.
Meszaros tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Campbell wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Campbell slows the pace down.
Campbell looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Meszaros is avoiding damage well.
Check out the look on Campbell's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
