Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Stackhouse (ranked 902 p4p, 114 weight class) and Samuel Turbitt (ranked 1434 p4p, 175 weight class). Stackhouse comes to the cage accompanied by True Blood. Turbitt comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tell Me Ma kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turbitt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Turbitt is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Stackhouse drops Turbitt with a beautiful combination! Turbitt stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Stackhouse is looking for the KO!
The fighters circling - Turbitt throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Stackhouse throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Stackhouse getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Turbitt is rocked!
Stackhouse looks to land a left hand but Turbitt moved out of range nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stackhouse lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Turbitt is still on wobbly legs! Can Stackhouse finish him?
Turbitt tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stackhouse looks to land a left hand but Turbitt moved out of range nicely.

Turbitt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Samuel Turbitt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big left from Stackhouse misses.
Turbitt seems to have recovered his senses.
Stackhouse cracks Turbitt with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Turbitt tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Stackhouse pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Turbitt is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Jason Stackhouse was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
