Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Esteban San Pedro (ranked 409 p4p, 46 weight class) and Oskar Friman (ranked 461 p4p, 52 weight class). San Pedro comes to the cage accompanied by Gunman. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 10 - 2, fighting out of London, Esteban San Pedro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Oskar Friman!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
San Pedro misses with an uppercut. Friman saw that one coming.
And Friman tries to counter it with a takedown but San Pedro pushes his down on his head and steps out.
San Pedro throws a looping overhand right but Friman ducks down to avoid it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Friman, as that shot connected.
Friman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and San Pedro counters with a nice uppercut.
Friman connects with a nice looking jab.
A swing and a miss from San Pedro.
Horrible takedown attempt by Friman or perhaps it was just good defense by San Pedro, which made it look bad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
San Pedro is not content to let Friman control the position.

Friman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as San Pedro is looking to escape.

That was a close second round but I would say that Esteban San Pedro will probably get the nod.
