Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ambe Ambe (ranked 1382 p4p, 179 weight class) and Superfluous Superior (ranked 1942 p4p, 255 weight class). Ambe comes to the cage accompanied by Jacquees - At The Club ft. Dej Loaf. Superfluous Superior has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ambe circles away from the clinch attempt.
A shot to the liver by Ambe. Beautiful body shot.
Superior has his takedown stuffed
and Ambe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Some wild striking there from Ambe.
Ambe lands the left hand.
A telegraphed right hand from Ambe misses the target.
Ambe uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Superior tries to clinch up.
A quick step to the side and Ambe tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ambe slips a straight right by Superior.
Superior throws an off balance right hand
and Ambe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Superior changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Superior's coach down at Island Sparring was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Superior's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Ambe bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Superior's head backwards.
Ambe throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Superior has a takedown stuffed.
Ambe cracks Superior with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ambe loads up on a big right hand but Superior slips the punch.
A punch lands to the side of Superior 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ambe throws a hook but Superior blocks it.
Ambe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Superior moves away.
Ambe looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Superior slips a jab from Ambe.
Ambe misses with a hook.
Superior on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ambe throws a looping overhand right but Superior ducks down to avoid it.

Superior walks into a straight right hand from Ambe.
Ambe throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Superior on the side of the head.
Ambe is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Superior is looking to take a break and control but Ambe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Superfluous Superior has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Ambe manages to get back to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Superior passes the guard and advances to mount!
Superior scoring with strikes but Ambe is staying in there.
Ambe Ambe is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Ambe tries to reverse the position but Superior maintains control.

Superior with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

I would just about give that final round to Superfluous Superior.
