Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Royce Peyton (ranked 4436 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jungle Simba (ranked 3617 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Royce Peyton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jungle Simba!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simba misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Peyton.

Peyton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Simba, pushing him back against the cage.

Peyton has picked Simba up - he's going for a ride! Peyton dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Simba wants to improve his position but Peyton is controlling well.
Peyton working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Simba's thigh. Simba counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Peyton wants to pass the guard but Simba is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Peyton won't allow Simba to sweep him here.
Simba bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Peyton's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Simba working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Peyton's head.
Simba chips away with some ground and pound.
Simba scoring with punches to the head and body.
Simba scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Simba works over Peyton with some ground and pound from guard.
Simba throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Peyton works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Simba has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Simba wants to pass the guard but Peyton is keeping the position.
Simba is working Peyton over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Simba lands a couple of elbows.
Simba postures up.
Simba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Peyton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Simba keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Peyton's head.

Simba works over Peyton with some ground and pound from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Simba stands up over Peyton, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Simba is in close to Peyton's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Simba tries to free his leg and advance position but Peyton is retaining full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Simba passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Simba advances to mount.
Simba is landing with some decent strikes but Peyton is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Simba cracks Peyton with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Simba fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Peyton is rocked!
Simba postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Peyton badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Simba around the waist but Simba pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Simba is the winner by TKO! Simba jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
