The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boss misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Boss.
Pusilla looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Boss tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Pusilla has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Pusilla controlling the position easily from mount.
Boss knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pusilla on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pusilla breaks from Boss's wrist control and lands an elbow.
It looks like Timi Boss has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pusilla moves to the back position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pusilla is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Boss with him. Boss is trying to defend but Pusilla has an arm under the chin now! Boss grimaces and is forced to tap out!
