Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hot Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 20 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Baltasar Halko!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Halko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Steel.
Steel changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Halko throws a right hand that Steel ducks under and follows up with a left that Steel also avoids with ease.
As Halko looks to move away, Steel throws a big counter combo but Halko just gets out of the way.
Halko throws a right and a left that both miss.
A punch combination from Halko misses.
Steel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Halko blocks a head kick by Steel.
Halko pivots, looking for a leg kick but Steel is out of range and Halko settles back down.
Steel stuffs the takedown attempt from Halko. Halko gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Halko darts in looking for a takedown but Steel gets double underhooks and turns Halko into the cage.
Steel scores with a sloppy right hand. Halko should have avoided that one.
Steel misses with a body kick.
Halko misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Steel.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Halko misses with an uppercut. Steel saw that one coming.
Halko pivots, looking for a leg kick but Steel is out of range and Halko settles back down.
Steel changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Halko shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Halko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Halko throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Halko won't allow Steel to get back to his feet.
Halko controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Steel wants to get back to his feet but Halko is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Halko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Halko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Halko working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Steel's head.
Steel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Halko on the ground.
Halko wants to control from the top but Steel keeps moving.
Halko is looking to work some ground and pound but Steel has wrist control.

Halko won't allow Steel to get back to his feet.
Halko advances to half guard.
Halko tries to pass to full mount but Steel defends it.

Halko is trying to work for a kimura but Steel is defending well.

Halko is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Halko in particular looking to stall.

Halko is trying for a kimura here. Steel looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Halko wins by kimura!
