Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dwan Diego (ranked 15442 p4p, 143 weight class) and Sortek Redfist (ranked 586 p4p, 81 weight class). Diego comes to the ring accompanied by Jiu Jitsu. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diego on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Redfist crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Diego - the referee stops the clock and Redfist gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Diego. Redfist manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

I was talking to Diego's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Diego lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Redfist's coach down at Julius Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Redfist's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
