The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Dean Styles and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larsson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Parez has a closed guard, preventing Larsson from standing up.
Parez is adopting a defensive guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parez is trying to control the position but Larsson postures up.
Larsson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Parez on the ground.
Larsson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Parez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
