Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaxon Stoner (ranked 1872 p4p, 241 weight class) and Bayden Wood (ranked 2233 p4p, 279 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bayden Wood!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Stoner momentarily.

It looks like Jaxon Stoner has been cut.
The fighters circling - Wood throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wood misses with a straight right.

and Stoner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wood's guard.

Stoner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wood has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stoner has managed to get both his arms back between Wood's legs - danger averted.
Stoner postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stoner is working Wood over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Stoner scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Stoner connects with a couple of short punches.
Stoner is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stoner keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wood's head.
Stoner cracks Wood with a solid left hand.

Wood is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stoner defends well.
Stoner postures up and lands a big shot to Wood's brow.
Stoner lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stoner's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Stoner sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wood's guard.
Stoner is nestled in close to Wood, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Wood is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ground and pound from Stoner.

Wood is rocked!
Stoner lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Wood! More strikes land and this one is all over! Stoner jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
