Valdes dives in and scores a takedown into Johnson's guard.
Johnson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Valdes is one step ahead there.

Valdes drops back looking for a leg! Johnson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Johnson manages to kick Valdes off! Valdes jumps back into Johnson's guard.
Johnson can't keep his opponent in guard - Valdes advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Valdes tries to pass to full mount but Johnson defends it.

Valdes seems to be looking for submissions.
