Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cyrius Python (ranked 1294 p4p, 164 weight class) and Billy Conforto (ranked 3621 p4p, 351 weight class). Conforto has chosen Bishop Gunn- Shine as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Conforto!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conforto connects with a right hand. Python shakes it off.

It looks like Cyrius Python has been cut.
Python takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Python shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Conforto as he jumps to the side.
Python has his takedown stuffed
and Conforto counters with a good low kick that Python was not able to check.
Python tries a head kick but it misses.
Conforto stuffs the takedown attempt from Python. Python gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cyrius Python. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Conforto scores with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Python fails with a takedown attempt.
Conforto throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Python changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
We've been informed that Conforto has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Python looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A little jabbing left from Conforto on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Python moves out of range of the strikes.
Conforto displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Python.
Python fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Conforto manages to avoid it.
Conforto follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Python throws a head kick that misses.
Conforto throws out a counter right but Python avoids it with no problem.
Conforto scores with a jab to the jaw.

Conforto works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Conforto scores with a hook to the body. Python takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Python ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Conforto moves away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Python shoots in for a takedown but Conforto shows good takedown defense.
It seemed like Conforto was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Conforto lands a big right hand that sends Python crashing to the mat! Conforto stays standing though and waves Python back to his feet!

and Conforto counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Python out cold! What a finish! Conforto is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
