Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Kempton (ranked 25042 p4p, 575 weight class) and Will Jankins (ranked 6076 p4p, 489 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Kempton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Will Jankins!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jankins has his takedown stuffed
and Kempton counters with a body kick.
Jankins shoots for a double leg takedown but Kempton sprawls well. He's pushed Jankins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kempton seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Marcus Kempton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Will Jankins.

Kempton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jankins stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kempton tries to work over Jankins's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Jankins takes a knee to the side of the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kempton jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Kempton lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jankins's sensitive parts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kempton has Jankins pressed against the cage. He pushes Jankins back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Kempton throws a beautiful elbow that sends Jankins crashing to the floor! Kempton piles on the pressure with more strikes! Jankins is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
