Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Just Whymer (ranked 9 p4p, 2 weight class) and Kassim Magufuli I V (ranked 71 p4p, 12 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

25 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kassim Magufuli I V!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whymer scores with a kick to the body.
Magufuli I V tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A left lands for Whymer.
Whymer looks to throw the jab but Magufuli I V is out of range.
Whymer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Whymer misses with a body shot
and Magufuli I V counters with a right hand to the body.
Whymer misses with a body kick.
Whymer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Magufuli I V moves away.
Whymer swings for the body but Magufuli I V moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Whymer just misses with a punch to the body.

Whymer throws a poor cross that misses
and Magufuli I V counters with a straight right hand.
Magufuli I V closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Whymer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Whymer throws a right hand that misses
and Magufuli I V counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Whymer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Whymer lands a really nice looking cross but Magufuli I V seems unphased.
Magufuli I V looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Magufuli I V uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Whymer.
A low kick from Whymer is predictable there
and Magufuli I V counters with a nice uppercut.
Magufuli I V sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Whymer looks to land a body kick but Magufuli I V moved away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Whymer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Magufuli I V has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Magufuli I V and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Magufuli I V replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Whymer blocks it well.
A left lands for Whymer.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Whymer throws a push kick but Magufuli I V slaps the foot to one side.
A nice side step and Magufuli I V releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Whymer throws a body kick that misses
and Magufuli I V comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Whymer stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Magufuli I V is on him like rabid pit bull! Whymer slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kassim Magufuli I V!

An out of breath Kassim Magufuli I V thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
