Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Earle Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finau tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A slow jab from Nelson misses its intended target.
Nelson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nelson slips a straight right by Finau.
Nelson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Nelson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nelson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Finau comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nelson lands with a nice body punch.
Finau ducks under a wild hook from Nelson.
Finau needs to keep his hands up - Nelson had a free shot at his head there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Finau misses with a two punch combination.

Finau throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nelson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Finau is in Nelson's guard.
Finau makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Nelson is looking for a triangle but Finau pushes his legs off easily.
Nelson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Finau. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nelson is trying to control the position but Finau postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nelson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Finau haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We've been hearing that Finau has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Nelson is rocked!
Finau stands up over Nelson, holding on to his feet. Finau throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Nelson is out cold! Finau lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
