Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amana Kelekolio (ranked 1441 p4p, 190 weight class) and Jordan Jackson (ranked 2127 p4p, 243 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelekolio uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jackson.
Kelekolio wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Kelekolio wants to clinch up but Jackson keeps it at a distance.
Jackson throws a good cross that connects.

Jackson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kelekolio on the side of the head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

As Jackson tries to get set, Kelekolio tries to push him back and clinch up but Jackson manages to avoid the attempt.
Jackson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Kelekolio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground.
