Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harvey Smith (ranked 2684 p4p, 293 weight class) and Guillo Perez (ranked 4354 p4p, 424 weight class). Harvey Smith had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Smith looks to land a left hand but Perez moved out of range nicely.

and Perez counters by moving into the clinch.
Perez is working for takedown but Smith is calmly controlling the position for now.

Perez 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Perez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Perez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
