The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dixie misses with an uppercut. Box saw that one coming.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Box! But no joy.
Box shoots in and drives through. Dixie sprawls well.

Box clinches up with Dixie and pushes him back against the cage.
Box is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Dixie working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
A left hand lands to the body for Dixie.
Dixie lands a body punch in the clinch.
Nice body punch from Dixie - that landed with a thud.
Box is looking to control Dixie's arms but Dixie gets an underhook and turns him. Now Box has his back to the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Box should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Dixie is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Bobby Dixie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Owen Box.

Box is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dixie to keep the fight standing.

Box has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dixie is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Box takes a shot to the head.

Dixie lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Dixie dips a shoulder and cracks Box with a mighty uppercut! Box falls back against the cage and Dixie unloads with a barrage of strikes! Box is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Dixie screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
