A relieved looking Bruce Vanorden thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Kordell Harris spoke after the fight, saying 'I came in here still healing from my fight seven days ago. When you get offered a title bout you take it. No training, cuts not healed. I knew I was going to bleed but I couldn't turn down this fight. I'll take some time to heal and make my way back. '.
