Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Farina (ranked 1158 p4p, 142 weight class) and Samson Fortier (ranked 1014 p4p, 125 weight class). Farina comes to the cage accompanied by Combichrist - Today I Woke to the Rain of Blood. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortier throws a body punch but Farina moves out of range.
Fortier feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Farinas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fortier pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Farina drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fortier sprawls and moves away.
Fortier loads up on a big right hand but Farina slips the punch.
Fortier throws a series of punches but Farina avoids them all with ease.
Farina half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Fortier throws a big shot that misses.
Farina appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Fortier throws a wild body kick that Farina sees coming a mile off.
Fortier misses the jab.
Farina attempts a counter takedown but Fortier avoids it well and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Farina moves out of range as Fortier throws a body kick.
Fortier throws a solid leg kick but Farina takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Fortier.
Fortier throws a hook but Farina blocks it.
Farina drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fortier sprawls and moves away.
Fortier is looking to slow Farina down with leg kicks.

Fortier bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Farina's head.

Fortier misses with a hook. Farina ducked under it nicely.
Farina walks straight into a right hand from Fortier - that's dropped him! Fortier jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Farina from any more punishment! Farina complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
