The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biggs dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Penn Jr checks a low kick from Biggs.
Biggs throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Penn Jr misses with a straight right.
Biggs throws a poor cross that misses
and Penn Jr counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Justin Biggs has been cut.
Biggs misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Biggs lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Penn Jr has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Penn Jr and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Penn Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Biggs throws a leg kick but Penn Jr sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Penn Jr.
We've been informed that Penn Jr has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Penn Jr throws out a head kick that Biggs doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Biggs crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Biggs's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Penn Jr lands a nice looking kick to the body. Biggs takes a step back to recover.

and Penn Jr counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Biggs rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Penn Jr counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Biggs is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Penn Jr throws a hook but Biggs blocks it.
Biggs comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Having scored a knockdown, Steel Penn Jr should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2.

Biggs throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Justin Biggs is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Penn Jr throws a lazy head kick
and Biggs cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Biggs fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Penn Jr.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Penn Jr, as that shot connected.

Penn Jr looks low and kicks high, catching Biggs right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!

Biggs moves out of range of the body kick from Penn Jr.

Penn Jr catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Biggs stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Biggs walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

Biggs throws a low kick but it's checked well by Penn Jr.
Biggs swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Penn Jr counters with a perfectly timed counter left hook that drops Biggs to the mat, face first! Penn Jr goes to the neutral corner and waits for the referee to start the count. Biggs is back to hise feet already though and looking to continue the bout! Exciting stuff!
Oh Biggs is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Biggs does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Penn Jr looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Biggs seems to have got his legs back now.

Penn Jr throws a jab but it's blocked by Biggs.
Biggs wants to slow Penn Jr down by chopping away at his legs.
Penn Jr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Biggs throws a body punch but Penn Jr moves out of range.
Biggs tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Penn Jr is able to avoid easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Biggs looks to land a combination but Penn Jr avoids it well.

Penn Jr cracks Biggs with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Biggs get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Biggs looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!

Jeez, Justin Biggs's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Steel Penn Jr decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
