Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Boyka (ranked 1055 p4p, 126 weight class) and Mikko Alatalo (ranked 905 p4p, 105 weight class). Boyka comes to the cage accompanied by Norman - Fury. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuri Boyka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mikko Alatalo!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alatalo lands a left and a right that send Boyka crashing to the mat, dazed. Alatalo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Yuri Boyka has been cut.
Alatalo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mikko Alatalo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boyka lands a nice looking body shot.
Boyka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Alatalo throws the kick towards the body but Boyka avoids it.
Boyka changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boyka moves out of range of the strikes.
Alatalo throws a nice looking combination but Boyka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Boyka swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Boyka slips a straight right by Alatalo.
Boyka was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Alatalo misses with a head kick.
Boyka has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mahogany Temple in the buildup to the fight.
Boyka takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Boyka misses the jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Alatalo! But no joy.
Alatalo throws the left hand but Boyka avoids the punch easily.
Alatalo checks a low kick from Boyka.
Boyka throws a head kick that misses.
Alatalo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Boyka throws a series of punches but Alatalo avoids them all with ease.
Alatalo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Boyka.

Alatalo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boyka was well out of range. Poor timing from Alatalo.
Alatalo throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Boyka misses with a series of wild punches.
Boyka throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Alatalo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boyka.
Alatalo avoids the body shot from Boyka.
Alatalo just misses with a punch to the body.
Alatalo fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
No joy there for Boyka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Boyka connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A jab from Alatalo does it's job there.
Alatalo lands a big right hand that sends Boyka crashing to the mat! Alatalo stays standing though and waves Boyka back to his feet!
Boyka is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Alatalo misses the shot to the body.
Nice defenses there by Boyka.
Alatalo cracks the inside of Boyka's front leg.
Alatalo lands with a straight right. Boyka didn't see that one coming.
Alatalo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boyka was well out of range. Poor timing from Alatalo.

and Boyka counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Alatalo misses with a jab, cross combination.

Alatalo loads up on a big right hand but Boyka slips the punch.
Alatalo misses with a hook. Boyka ducked under it nicely.
Alatalo swings for the body but Boyka moves out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Boyka, as that shot connected.
Alatalo avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Some wild striking there from Boyka.
Boyka misses with a head kick.
Alatalo looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Alatalo swings for the body but Boyka moves out of range.
Alatalo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Alatalo slips under a jab.
Alatalo staying out of range there.
Alatalo swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Alatalo throws a head kick that misses.
Alatalo thumps Boyka with a low kick.
Boyka throws a hook to the side of Alatalo's head but Alatalo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Boyka throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Alatalo blocks a head kick by Boyka.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boyka looks to throw the jab but Alatalo is out of range.
Alatalo throws a sloppy head kick and Boyka moves out of range easily.
Alatalo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Boyka sprawling to the canvas! Boyka rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Alatalo finish him?!
Oh Boyka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boyka walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Alatalo swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mikko Alatalo!
During a confident post fight interview, Mikko Alatalo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
