The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Philips lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wangchuck circles away quickly and effectively.
Philips misses with a few strikes there.
Wangchuck shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Philips counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Wangchuck shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Philips but Philips pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wangchuck's coach down at Lads Lash Banter Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Wangchuck's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Philips decides to stand back up. Philips steps back and let's Wangchuck get back to his feet.
Wangchuck is still on wobbly legs! Can Philips finish him?
Radio Philips is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Philips engages and cracks Wangchuck with a massive lead left hook - Wangchuck tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Philips is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Radio Philips!
