Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, James Penn!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozma takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Penn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kozma circles away quickly and effectively.

Penn shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Penn showed some decent athleticism there.
Penn with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Kozma has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Penn is working away from the top position though.
Penn has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Steel's Grappling Penn. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Kozma knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Penn on the ground.

Penn has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kozma is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Penn yanks on the arm and Kozma is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Penn.
