With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Tripolini!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Franklyn Lucas and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joestar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tripolini tries to clinch but Joestar moves out of range.
Joestar moves out of range of the strikes.
Tripolini swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Joestar counters with a nice uppercut.
Tripolini misses the shot to the body.
Joestar swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Tripolini keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Joestar throws the left hand but Tripolini avoids the punch easily.
Joestar throws a lazy uppercut
and Tripolini counters with a straight right hand.

Tripolini looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Tripolini darts in and clinches Joestar up against the cage.
Tripolini throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Joestar misses with a short punch on the inside.
Joestar blocks the elbow strike.
Joestar swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Tripolini lands an elbow inside that Joestar shrugs off.

A body shot lands from Joestar.
Joestar is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Joestar lands a shoulder strike.
Tripolini blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Tripolini lands a nice elbow from the clinch.


It looks like Johan Joestar has been cut.
Tripolini lands a nice shot to the body.
Joestar dodges an elbow strike from Tripolini.
A frustrated look appears on Joestar's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Joestar on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Joestar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tripolini tries to clinch but Joestar moves away
and Tripolini takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Joestar takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tripolini misses with a straight right.
Joestar circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've been informed that Tripolini has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Tripolini takes a swing at Joestar's ribcage but misses.
Tripolini digs a good hook to Joestar's body.
A punch combination from Tripolini misses.
Joestar swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Tripolini closes the distance but Joestar moves to the side
and Joestar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Joestar lands with a good body shot.
Joestar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tripolini.
Joestar throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tripolini tries to clinch but Joestar moves out of range.
Tripolini misses with a shot to the body
and Joestar counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Tripolini looks winded!

Joestar cracks Tripolini with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Joestar has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Tripolini to stand back up!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Joestar throws a jab when Tripolini was well out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tripolini ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Joestar moves away.
Tripolini slips a straight right by Joestar.
Joestar circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Tripolini tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Joestar wins by KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Johan Joestar!
Johan Joestar bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
